We are currently looking for drivers to transport clients in a comfortable, safe and timely manner between local job sites. To be considered for this role, you should have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record with no traffic violations. Note that you don’t need to have a car; we provide drivers with our own vehicles.
Responsibilities of the Non-CDL Driver
- Transport clients and/or packages to and from destinations
- Arrive at destinations on schedule
- Fulfill administrative needs, like office pickups
- Research and plan for traffic, construction and weather delays
- Use navigation applications to determine the best route
- Proper usage of hand held device to record all activity for the day
- Interact with clients professionally at all times
- Ensure that the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use
- Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed
- Keep mileage records and repair records up-to-date
Qualifications of the Non-CDL Driver
- A valid driver’s license, a clean driving record and a high school diploma
- Must have 12 months of commercial driving experience in the last 3 years
- Ability to lift, bend, carry & load packages up to 50 pounds
- Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50)
- Familiarity with GPS devices such as google maps
- Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
- Availability to occasionally take weekend shifts
- Ability to work as a team and interact professionally with co-workers
- Ability to remain polite and calm in stressful driving situations
Compensation of the Non-CDL Driver
- Full-time pay is $18.00 to $20.00 per hour, depending on schedule and experience
- Full time employees (35 hours +) receive company paid health insurance
