Remote Customer Service Representative

Shift One is currently looking for several Customer Service Representatives on first shift. We at Shift One are a job marketplace connecting frontline professionals directly to employers for contract and permanent opportunities. Available shifts:

  • Schedule A is Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Schedule B is Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Schedule C is Sunday to Thursday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

 

Responsibilities of the Remote Customer Service Representative

  • Answer and book incoming calls, emails, and other requests projecting a professional and memorable image to the customer
  • Make outbound calls to book and confirm existing and potential customers to book the dispatch board to full capacity
  • Selling services to consumers who call customer service. De-escalate situations involving customers, offering patient assistance and support
  • Call clients and customers to inform them about the company’s new products, services and policies
  • Guide callers through troubleshooting, navigating the company site or using the products or services
  • Review customer or client accounts, providing updates and information about billing, shipping, warranties and other account items
  • Collaborate with other call center professionals to improve customer service
  • Help to train new employees and inform them about the company’s customer management policies
  • Prepare call performance reports. Manage call performance
  • Maintain database by entering information on every call

 

Qualifications of the Remote Customer Service Representative

  • Strong communication, both written and verbal
  • Great active listening skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal and rapport building skills
  • A patient and empathetic attitude
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Adaptability and flexibility. Comfortable working in fast-paced environments
  • Troubleshooting skills, either basic or advanced, depending on the role and industry
  • Computer literacy. Phone skills, including familiarity with complex or multi-line phone systems
  • Expertise in the customer service area they focus in, such as accounts, sales, technical support or another area
  • Ability to speak multiple languages, especially those common among callers

 

Compensation of the Remote Customer Service Representative

  • Starting base pay is $16.00 to 18.00 / hr., depending on schedule & role
  • Overtime is also available
  • Weekly pay
  • Paid Time Off (start accruing time immediately)
